Oil pressure sensor ?

Hi new here been reading for a while.

So today I did my frst oil change in a "96 standard 231 XJ and since then I show no oil pressure. Everything runs well except the gauge shows no oil pressure. I did break a plastic part just above the oil filter, I think it is the oil pressures sensor. I'm I right?

Oil pressure SENDER. Guys at the parts store will understand. Go get one. Welcome to the forum.

Late to the parade, but the "normal" issue with the oil pressure sender AFTER AN OIL CHANGE is you have dislodged the sending unit wire.
