WJ front end conversion

Question...

How hard is it to redo the front end (to include knuckles, steering, and brakes) from xj to wj?

Shouldn't it be almost a direct bolt in? Someone told me, another Jeeper, that it's a lot of work, including chopping the tie rod, resleeving it, and a ton of other stuff...
 
I figured that was the answer I was going to get.... Shucks... Guess I can be lazy this time. ON TO THE SEARCH BUTTON!!!!
 
WJ is wider, so the tie rod will not bolt in. I would recommend custom/aftermarket steering links anyways. Yes, you can cut/sleeve the WJ tie rod, but still not as strong as dom/solid stock.
For correct steering angles, your axle side trackbar mount must be raised.
However, you can swap in the knuckles/brakes and use your stock steering setup if you need to.
