I was thinking about building my own with 1/2"-20 threaded rod and heims.
Heims are rated at 9,100 pounds, and greaseable, so needless to say, they should be plenty enough for the XJ.
I calculated all the parts i will need to make these, and it's going to cost me $75.15.
I was wondering if i started selling them, how much you'd be willing to pay for them? What do you think is reasonable? Any idea(s) on how to improve them? They're going to be way better quality than some of the cheaper ones you can get.
They're going to look like this. I should have my first set made in about two days.
The plate that the top heim is going to be bolted to is going to be a 1/4" plate.
Would anyone be interested in anything like this?
