Door swap q's

I have a pair of 97+ front doors to swap on to my renix heep. I do not have keys for the locks.
I was wondering if anyone knows if 96-down lock cylinders will work? I already have 2 keys because of the one side gm keys so I don't care that they will be different. I figure that instead of possibly having 3 keys, if the earlier one would work so I can get a matching hatch lock? I know several people have done the swap just do not know if any have swapped in early lock cylinders.

I know this is tech, but if anyone knows of or has tan manual door panels and such let me know please. Thanks
