Passenger door problems

Ok so this is a odd question but I replaced a few parts and still no luck. On my 92 xj my front passenger door wont close all the way. Doesnt matter how hard I try to close it wont shut all the way. There is like an 3/4 gap. The guy I bought it from did rock crawl it but all the damage is on the drive side and the back door on the passenger side shuts just fine. Anyone else had this problem.
