Front sub frame straightening

Front of my frame looks like this(not my jeep, but I have same problem) and I read elsewhere to use a 2x4 to fix it, but I don't understand the concept if getting it straight for a new bumper...

I can't see your pics, so I don't know how bad it is.

Mine drifted into a snow bank by the previous owner, front bumper was taco'ed a bit. When I installed my JCR bumper I used the bumper, bolts and some prying/wedging to realign and pull things back into place.

Mine wasn't bad, having a beefy aftermarket bumper helped.

Ha ha. I never read the names.

Make sure you get a bumper with the extended frame tie in brackets.

I was able to use the hardware and some hammer work to get bolts to line up, then tighten bolts, pry, hammer etc. to pull it all back in place.

The beefy bumper brackets will help everything pull back into place.
