I just bought my first XJ. 92 Base model, 5-speed manual, 4WD, 4.0 HO, 218439m. The only problem is it has been sitting for 2 years. It has its quirks and squeaks, (as all older vehicles do) but my question is, is there anything i should look for or go ahead and replace. I changed the oil and put new pads, rotors and calipers on it because the old ones were completely locked up to the point it would cause the vehicle to shake. it had brand new tires on it(which now have flat spots, which i'm working out). Also, the gas tank will only take about 13 gallons, which everywhere ive read its supposed to hold 20, it only reads 3/4 full which is pretty close to being right and the 13 but anyone have advice for this?
