CCV elbow "internals" don't match OEM elbow. Does it matter?

I am going to replace the 2 CCV grommets and valves along with my VC gasket.

I read that one of the valves has a tiny opening that gets clogged.

However, my replacements do not have this. Is this a problem?
Will the extra airflow make the XJ think there is a vacuum leak?

You need the one with the small "metering orifice" in the CCV position (VC rear) and the open one in the VC front position. The engine will idle high if you put the fitting in the CCV position that does not have the metering orifice.

Correct--they gave you two of the front elbows, you need the one with the orifice in the back.
