LED Rock Lights install

I bought a string of 20 when the guy on Pirate had them on special. He also sent an extra 5, so I got 25 4 light LED's shipped for about $25.00

I installed them in my overhead console (5)and put another 5 on the rear hatch, then the other 15 under the rig.

I really like these a lot. They are small, draw virtually no load and are waterproof. They have a small hole in the center to mount them.

The install was time consuming but pretty straight forward. I decided to solder the joints and use heat shrink. If anyone wants more details, ask.

If anyone wants to buy some, here's the link on Pirate, many different colors available too:

Here's a couple of walk around videos to get an idea how bright they are:

I bought the same lights (white color) but haven't put them on yet. They do look very bright.

Ive had these on my rig for almost a year and love them!

That's good to know. I tried to tuck them up into spots where I wouldn't damage them in the rocks, or trails. I hope to stay out of the mud, but it's good to know I can hose them off without any problems.

I barely night wheel, but I like the idea of having these incase something ever broke or needed to be fixed at night on the side of the road.

They are nice for night wheeling but I use mine most of the time around camp. They are such a low draw I just leave them on any time I'm going in and out of the jeep at night.

I have a different set but these are so cheap maybe I'll add a few more.

I'm gonna score a set. Under hood and on the hatch, switched for work lights, plus underbody for night wheeling.
