NSS cracked!

So I pulled off my NSS this morning to clean it and once it was off the corner of the black plastic is cracked so the piece can come off and also a portion of the threading where the nut goes on broke off as well. The nut still screws back on. Is my NSS trash now or will it still work? It still seals up and I can't really fork out money for a new NSS right now

Until you get a new one you could try some 2-part epoxy for plastic to seal up the crack(s), install it then adjust it by having the key ON/engine/OFF, trans in reverse, in a garage with the door closed (or use an observer) then rotate the NSS back and forth watching the reverse lights go on and off then split the difference and then tighten the nut carefully.
