Whats up guys, did a HP30 swap into my 00 xj, got 4.5" of lift. Well, my front shaft is now to long? Lol unless I mistaking put one of my zj shafts in and didn't notice it I don't see how it won't fit? Did lp and up 30s have different driveshafts? My ca are at 15" upper and 16" lower. Had em at 16 to set pinion angle but that didn't happen lol so help me out! Lol

Auto vs manual matters too. I believe the LP shaft is a bit longer but not sure, here's the dana/spicer catalog that gives some lengths to compare: http://www2.dana.com/pdf/J321-CV.pdf
Make sure you take into account motor, transmission, and year of manufacture (99 earlier vs 00 later) when comparing.

I put an HP30 in my 2001 that came with a LP30 and never changed the driveshaft. Should I be concerned?

AFAIK HP and LP D30 use the same length drive shaft. I did a HP swap in my 00, and re-used the same drive shaft.
