Goatfest is only a few weeks away. I know most of us are burning the midnight oil in preparation to go.

What do you have on your To-Do list?

source another d30 stub shaft so i can put a spare pass side shaft together
get my spare tire mounted on a rim
rear qp armour
lengthen front and rear lower shock mounts
figure out what's causing my occasional slight DW when i hit a bump in a turn
and if i have time, minor boatside.
Mike Finch is doing my rear main next week too.

Alignment, test drive, pinion adjusting, break in the new gear sets, light bar and lights, bleed brakes again,
front bumper building and winch install, wash and wax(lol), super beer bong build, belly skids,
hitch, rear cargo hold downs, head lights. RMS can wait, I'll just bring gallons of oil.

Trying to beat the deadline to be able to go.

1) Fix or replace my insert locker on Dana30.
2) Install 4 new stereo speakers that arrived yesterday.
3) Find out why my roof rack lights wont turn on... no power getting to switches; tested relays and fuses all good.

Buy beer
Try and make fender tube flares like Hooligans
Buy beer
Take roofrack off for possible.slidders
Buy beer
Get & install leaf spring relocaters
Buy more beer
Get new motorhome rear tires
Sell some beer.

1: Install Shackle relocation brackets.

2: Remove Roof Rack

3: Fix brake lights

4: Get Motorhome ready.

5: Tell wife I'm going. (ask permission)

Im assuming its an Outer Stub shaft? I may have one from my old set up. I'll look

1. Front driveshaft (JE Reel is working on it right now)
2. Move axle forward one inch, adjustable arms top and bottom.
3. Move rear leaf mounts down and back one inch.
4. Rear bumper (pipe dream, no way i'll get it done that soon)
5. CB radio.
6. Beadlock inserts (another pipe dream)

I'll play,

  • Change out the front carrier/install new diff cover
  • Change mounts and install new front shocks
  • Make new front ram mount and tie in with new high steer
  • Swap to all new knuckles
  • Mount Reservoirs somewhere....
  • Install Limit Straps on front end (if needed)

Replace radiator,
mount steering cooler,
Mount trans cooler
Finish plating mid-rails
Move front axle back/trackbar forward
Dial in front prothanes
Sleeve,truss,lock 8.8
Ebrake cables for 8.8
Shock mounts on 8.8
Source spare 8.8 shafts
Sell geared 8.25 with spare shafts.
Not break anything at the poker run.
Win lottery, buy new tires.

#6 Pull one of your Hummer wheels, measurethe distance from riim inner bead to inner bead and subtract about 3/8'' for each tire bead (2). You may be able to find the measurement on the internet or call $100.00 man in Hesperia he can tell you or may have some. If not Google pipline or irrigation supplies. You can also check construction stes small sections are always discarded. Get a section of plastic water line (its lite blue) cheap stuff. Get the diameter & width you measured x's 4. You can cut it straight with a Skill saw with the blade all the way out, or buy.it cut. Wuala Hummer bead locks!!

10-4. Or I can cut down the magnesium runflats I have. Haven't decided yet, but the mag runflats are already in my shed...paid for. Plus having some scraps of magnesium sitting around right before goatfest wouldnt bother me any. :flame::flame::flame::flame:
