99 xj 4.0 ax15
Recently i have had ocasionally problems while shifting into 3rd and 4th the lever will abosutely refuse to go into those gears. It takes moving the shifter lever around and banging on it to get it to go in gear tranny has clean fluid i know for a fact its not in the forks cause the tranny got rebuilt not to long ago. Not to mention if it was in the forks it would be persitent the shifter lever is extremely sloppy to so i took it off the top of the tranny move the boot aside and had a look at the springs for the lever springs seem well worn and broken in one spot is there anyway to replace just the springs or do i have to get the whole lever?
