Looks like they are 1 3/16" external circlips, McMaster part number 97633A330. They ship really fast.

Shit, I should just sell the joints and circlips that I have chillin in my Jeep, but I keep them around in case other people need them on the trail since I have RCVs.

Oh, and read this: http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/jeep...an-anyone-measure-spicer-760x-u-joint-me.html

And then go buy some of these: http://dirt-fab.3dcartstores.com/Dana-Spicer-5-760x-Axle-U-Joint_p_460.html

alright I did the upgrade. but I wasn't careful enough and I ground off some of the flat part by mistake. how bad is this?

I would take a flap wheel, and smooth out the sharp corner frome where you cut
Sharp corner = stress riser

damn. too late for that on one of them. it's all put back together
the other one I did not grind enough, so the snap ring did not fit. I have to figure out how to remove the snap ring on the opposite side and try again

you are talking about smoothing out around the eye correct?

anything else to look out for? binding issues? I did not grind the sides of the yoke and forgot to check

driver side complete
