lifting

hi all
just got my OME suspension kit for my xj 2001 . the suspension kit lift the car by 2 inch ,however i was looking to increase the height by one and half inch by adding one inch spacer in the front and shackles in the back .does that require any modification for the drive shaft or gearbox or any other ??? or can i proceed only with what is mentioned above ??

You shouldn't need to modify anything at 3 1/2 inches. You may end up with some driveline vibes, but that isn't a given.

Many people have vibration problems above 2" with the 98 and newer models...

While not my first choice, you could likely get by with a tranfer case drop if you do have bad vibes and want to keep things economical.

I guess next $ option is hack n tap, with new shaft, finally SYE and new shaft being the best, but most $$ invested.
