control arm length

did some searching and measuring and came up with about 16.5 eye to eye for 4.5" lift on my lower control arms. my question is will this make my caster all wonky with stock length uppers?

What are doing for the uppers??? That is the starting point. All XJ's are a bit different even though they are the same setup. Start there then measure your caster and adjust as needed.

wow so is that why i,m chewing up my front tyres, i have about 3.5 inches of lift and stock upper and lower control arms, i dont have any more forward travel on the lower arms

at the rear mount (adjustment) should i have adjustable control arms, can i get awy with lower only or should i have drop brackets??

I have the same question as Ewenm. I have seen different variations with that chart with that one suggesting that adustable uppers would be a good idea around around 3" and others saying stock uppers should be fine.

Caster will not cause tire wear, Check your toe and camber.
