Remote door lock wiring

I will be wiring my first ever car alarm. I have all the wires needed already pointed out, what I don't know is what type of lock system XJ's have. I am pretty sure I will need two wire in the two relays for lock/unlock but there are a few different diagrams to use and don't want to mess the module up. Anyone here have some knowledge on alarms?

Do you have pwr door locks? Keyless entry?

yes it has pwr locks, but no keyless

IIRC the lock switches complete the ground circuit.

I see the following notes for the locks, but what I'm trying to figure is if the alarm wires up directly to them (lock/unlock) or if relays are required.

so I went and wired part of it up. two issues i am having though.

starter interrupt is not working, need to find a 12v while switch is in run & start position.

door trigger is not working, illumination lights up when door is opened, but alarm does not go off when door is opened manually.

I will be tackling the door locks either tonight or tomorrow. The 451m relay I will be using requires a constant 12v, I am thinking about pulling it from the constant that the module is getting its power from.
