Reading Daniel Stern's lighting page (http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/relays/relays.html) about relays, it says to use stranded wire, which this is... Just want to make sure it's the right stuff before buying.

It seems whenever I order "cheap" Primary wire off of ebay or Amazon it is always 1 or 2 sizes smaller than advertized. So if you want actual 10AWG, I would order 8AWG as that 10 will likely be more like 12 in reality.

Otherwise, yes, primary wire is good to use in the vehicle. No other information is given about that wire. I like to know the insulation rating, temperature and chemical resistance in particular, for wires in the engine bay. Your wiring is likely to be "up front" of the engine so chemicals and temperature may not be much of an issue. Just be sure you ground and fuse properly.

Personally I would pay the extra $.57 and buy something I know was quality.
