Rebuilding Alternator

So I cant seem to find any place that carries a kit brushes or bushings for my 95 xj alt. All the bone yards around here dont have and ZJ alts or even XJ it seems the pull them all and sell them right away.At $130ish Im looking to rebuild rather than buying new.Any help would rock my alt sounds like POOP :listenmus

Check with your local aternator rebuilders. Most like they will sell you the required parts. But, there are not, to my knowledge, "kits" available. Just brushes, diode packs and bearings. Make sure you get the slip rings recut on a lathe. No sense in puting new brushes against worn rings.
