Heating

So I have a 95 xj 4.0l automatic 4x4. The motor is out of a lowish miles 98 cherokee. Anyway I'll be driving it down the highway and everything is ok but when I get off of a ramp it starts to go up in temperature. Not dramatically but it goes about midway past 210. But will eventually go back down if I'm just sitting. It spikes at first for a few min then back to normal. Should I be worried or is this normal? If I should be worried what should I do about it?

Can you clarify that? Does it go up to the next hashmark or about halfway between 210 and the next hashmark?

Nice looking jeep.

It goes about 3/4 to the next hash mark and rests there.
