Bent the crap out of my RC 1.5 " shackles running Fordyce . I have longer than stock leafs andam using a relocation bracket in addition to the shackles. With those shackles my ride height and angle were just about right . The shackes just couldn't take the abuse of be droped off 3 foot ledges on to awaiting rocks. They do look a little weak in retrospect. whats the most beefy Shackles for my intended purpose? here are a couple that caught my eye

opinions?

< still new and building.

looking at the two you posted it seems the Rocky-road is the only one that is going to net you the 1.5" you are replacing and the Ironman are going to give you 2"+ depending on angle and whatnotz.

a set im looking to get for mine are the Rubicon express boomerang, eye to eye they are 6" netting the 1.5" that you currently have.

I ran the rocky road for several years. aside from the paint/powdercoat whatever it is they put on it flaking off within a year and turning to rust, no issues. It did take them forever to ship them out though.

I was looking at these the other day. I know you can run longer than stock leafs with these but anybody know if something like Rusty's 3.5" leaf packs would combine with these shackles?

Ordered the Ironman Shackles .Talked to them and they assured me that these wont bend or brake on me and guarnteed them for life. I going to beat on em next trip. . Cant wait heeee!! I like the ability to adjust them indivdully and increase my height if and when tne leafs begin to sag. Combined with the relocation brackets should be able to fine tune the rear very nicely.

I'd like to know the total length when they are collapsed when you get them

teraflex 1.5? what a run, greasable poly bushings. BEEFY

That's what I have on my big jeep. They double as a leaf spring skid. They hang out really far, I hit damn near everything coming off ledges and stuff. The think steel does a great job at scratching and breaking chunks off.

Ironman 4x4 shackles are beef. And I can fine tune my lift in about ten minutes. They work very well with my acos
