New brakes, clicks from front end

make sure the wheel is not contacting any of the brake pad clips. that happened to me.

Did you do it yourself?

After you check the anti-rattle clips, make sure the ear of the pad is not sitting in a groove that is worn in the steering knuckle slide surface.

This is a common trouble spot. You can file it smooth if it is not too deep.

what he said. Also if your bearings are loose that can exacerbate the problem. Been fighting it on my F-150 for years, I think to make it 100% right I will need to replace one or both of the spindles unfortunately. (don't have that problem on a XJ though!)
