first post for me but been lurking around for a year or so, i need some help...putting a 4.5re lift on the wifes 00 xj and ordered some 33-12.50-15 nitto trail grapplers today but i have been on the computer for hours now researching wheel sizes and backspacings. im going to run procomps 152s ( fake beadlock) and im pretty positive i want to run a 15x10s ( i understand i doesnt seat the bead as well and i will have to do major triming) but the only bs they come in is 3.75 im afraid thats going to be TO FAR out , i was hoping more for a 4 or 4.5 bs should i just run the 10s w/3.75 bs or should i just go with 8s w/3.75 bs......im losing my mind and need help, any tips, tricks, advice, pictures or links will help.....and please dont tell me to use the search function i have been on this forum and every other one and google trying to find a answer and it has just made me more crazy.....thanks in advanced, Gary

tens with 3.75 back-spacing ... *shrug*

I used to run 15x8's with 33x12.5 the last time I had them (and will again if I get some more). The 8" wheel holds the bead tighter with 12.5's ... i had regular issues popping a bead with 15x10's below 10psi.

your talking 1/4" of difference inch of backspacing... whats going to really determine your tire profile is the rim width.

for what its worth... 33x12.50 on 4" BS

both rims are 8". tires about 30psi. RE 4.5" lift.

Glad to see some pics of 33's, lift and wheel choice - I'm soon to make the same choice.

Thanks for the pics!
