Removing lighted vanity mirror

I am trying to change the headliner in my 88 and the passenger side visor has

a lighted mirror with two wires running into the visor. Is there a plug

somewhere to unplug it or do I have to cut the wires to finally be able to

remove the liner?

IIRC, there is a plug behind the headliner-- let everything hang enough to reach behind there and unplug it.

I removed the trim along the side of the window and there were two separate wire plugs

running down the window.
