Tranny/TC swap

I'm finally putting the AW4 in my 88 MJ. It's a 94 tranny. I need some opinions on whether a NP242 T/C will work...why or why not...pro's & con's...bolt in or modified...NOT a rock crawler or extreme duty truck. Won't likely see any difficult terrain other than gravel roads and snow on an occasional basis. Not exactly a DD but not a beast either by any means.

242 should work fine. If you had a vac-disco, your 4wd lights will not work without a workaround.

Not too worried about the light...just want it on the road. I'm eliminating the vac disco anyway. Seems that the 242 I could drive in snow and then on dry and back to snow, which is how it is up here.
