Rear cargo tabs strong enough to hold a 35 in a rollover?

Looking for a quick fix for securing a 35" spare in the cargo area before leaving for Moab on Friday. Hoping the cargo tabs will keep the 35" from popping my head in the case of a rollover.

if you are talking about the little tabs that are screwed to the floor with the ring on them, no. I had a 31 strapped down and pulled them right out of the floor doing some mild go-fast stuff.

How quick of a roll? A flop on your side, probably fine. A full rollover? maybe not.

I install hooks(eye bolts) in the back of my jeep to hold heavy stuff. You can get to the 4 outside corners without hitting the gas tank.Go under and look first.I used good size thick washers on top and bottom.

No, you can pull them out by hand.

Chevy S-10 Blazers have some real nice tabs.

My old Pro Comp MT 33 fit perfect. My new GY MTR/K won't fit with the seat up.

Eyebolts n fender washers, like Scott said.

Get it all from home depot, no time at all to install...
