The 80's was a magical time... Best time of my life I think. Sure, we sucked at fashion and hair styles, but some of the best music came out of that era. That song was a big hit back then... Number 1 for 4 weeks...I had to watch that whole thing lol. Weird stuff.

In America? I was heavily into music in the ‘80s and I’ve never heard anything close to that song.
I’m with you, I like the older stuff. I’m too young to really love classic rock and too old to get into this pop/country crud. ‘80s it is.

Well I guess for me it was more about the subject matter.... Kind of like Helter Skelter.... Although in this case the song was written about the crime, not the other way around.
