What's the easiest way to replace the output bearing on the rear of the tcase? I have up/down/sideways play on the fixed yoke.

Pull the case and tear it down.
Install all new bearings, seals and a chain if needed..
Re-assemble and reinstall.

The whole tail housing comes off without splitting the case if thats all you want to do

Thanks. As I'm digging through various manuals it seems that the bearing is part of the tail housing when it's shipped.
Advanced adapters sye manual shows that the bearing is retained by a snap ring. I can't figure out how the JB conversion bearing is held (yup... I"m not sure which SYE I have ... I could potentially also have PORC..... I'm pretty sure it's one of those three )

All of the ones I have seen were retained by a snap ring on the inside of the output housing.

^this! Pull the tail housing off. You'll see a snap ring on the inside keeping the bearing in place. Super easy.
