I have a question on wheel backspacing

I have a 1990 Xj with the bushwacker cut out fender flares and a 4.5 inch BDS long arm lift. I plan on going with 16X8 wheels with 265/75/16 tires(roughly 32X10.5X16). I am either looking at a 4 or 4.5 inch backspacing. My question is for those of you with the cut out fender flares. Which backspacing would look best with those flares? I don't want the tires to stick out past them, but be even or slightly tucked in.

i would think you'd be closer to 3.5" if you want them to be somewhat even. i have 3.25 back spacing, no flares but i would think that the bushwackers would cover them.

I run 4" of backspacing on mine. It looks fine, Bushwackers extend out slightly farther than the edge of the tire.
