Finally ready to start the reassembly on my Dana 44. I have a shop manual for my 98......but of course it does not list the specs for the Dana 44 I have from an 87. Does anyone out there have the torque specs for the carrier bolts, pinion nut, etc.

Thanks in advance

OK a buddy called up and loaned me his Mitchell Shop Manual so its taken care of at this point. Here are the specs if anyone else needs them.

Ring gear bolt torque 45-60ft lbs
Pinion nut torque 200-220ft lbs
Pinion bearing preload 20-40 INCH lbs for NEW pinion bearings
For old pinion bearings the spec is 10-20 INCH lbs.
Carrier bearing cap torque 70-90ft lbs
Backlash spec 0.005-0.008" w/ 0.002 max difference between any 2 points on the ring gear.
