Crankshaft sensor can be ruled out right? And not the PCM bc of fuel? not sure how that works?

swapped asd, and new cap rotor wires, no fire off the coil.

cleaned ground on coil, so the likely culprit is coil or pickup right?

jeep sat for couple years and cranked up with new battery/alt at first, but now no spark, fuel pump turns on.

Yes, crank sensor is the #1 suspect. If crank sensor is bad, fuel pump can still run. If you are swapping crank sensors, be darn sure that the one you are swapping in is of the exact same application and is for both vehicles. There are some subtle differences. If you put the wrong one in and it still doesn't work, you might be chasing your tail.

Ignition coil can be tested for both primary and secondary resistances with a meter and a manual. The coil would be your #2 suspect.

would a bad cam sensor, pick up, give a no spark condition? i haveent checked to see if rotor is turning yet, are there any links for testing coil and pcm? i know how to test the CKPS
