hood problem

well just like it says went out to work this morning was going to check the brake fluid on the jeep and the damn hood won't open wtf, its stuck on the driverside i can reach in and pry on it from the middle latch but it wont budge man this really sucks ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any help will be greatly appreciated. the hood latch release is not broken or anything ive been popping the hood all week end also so i cant explain it??????????????

Shut it and try it again. Lube the pi$$ out of the latch mechanism when you get it open.

close it back, then jerk the shit out of the release.

theres a great writeup about how to fix this rather simply, IIRC, you pull the headlight or something. The answer is there, go find it using google.

" busted hood cable naxja" is a great start, answer should be there.

Jerking the cable too hard, will leave you with the knob in your hand broken off with about 3 feet of cable attached to it.

Yeah, but at least you'd feel better after you broke something :twak:
