Anyone know it? I told him 1987 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L and he says there is no sensor like that for the car. he is telling me TPS, I say no, its the CPS its on the transmission bell housing not the TB.

Can anyone tell me the part number? Or what NAPA labels the CPS under?

two part numbers:

MPE CSS980SB 31$
and
ECH CSS980 40$

this one is for high altitude...not sure why there is a difference for that...
ECH CSS637 51$

Did you get it?

awesome thanks!

I will pick it up tomorrow. its being transferred from another store. seriously though. I stopped going to oreilys cause they told me there is no such thing as a trac bar on Jeeps cause its not in their steering diagram. Im running out of places to get my parts locally!

Sometimes the problem is they call it something else, like a drag link, or a CKP sensor instead of a CPS.

The IAT or MAT also seems to have 3 names at least.

The listing for the track bar makes sense since it isn't really a steering part, but a suspension part...just like a lower control arm is a suspension part.
