Is it possible to get bump steer with UTK steering?

I recently installed UTK 1 ton steering and I am having some slight bump steer always to the left. My track bar is in the stock location still. I thought having bump steer would require having either the steering or track bar on opposite sides of the axle such as OTK steering with the track bar in the stock location.

My only other question is could too much caster cause this too? Right now I have my pinion angle matching my drive shaft angle. I am going to dial the pinion down a little to see if that helps with some of the issues.

Anyone have any insight?

Ive got mild bumpsteer, at 3.5", with jcr UTK. Trackbar dropped at the frame, but oem mounting at the axle...

So yeah.

caster angle may be poop, or your trackbar and drag link aren't parallel, or a combination of those things

Right, they look close but I didn't exactly draw lines. I will have to do that and see what it looks like.

Bump steer is caused by the angle of the drag link as compared to the tie rod. The less parallel they are the worse the bump steer.

I am going to take a picture tomorrow and import it in cad to draw the lines from bolt to bolt and see where they line up. Thanks

It can also be caused if the drag link and track bar are different lengths. Then when going over a bump they swing on different arcs.
