99 Jeep XJ Front CV drive shaft after SYE kit?

The Badness

Hey guys, i have a 99 jeep cherokee with a 6.5" short arm lift....i just purchased a standard length SYE kit for it....and I dont feel like paying $400 for what looks like a standard front CV driveshaft....could I use a front CV out of another XJ? Will it hold up? Im just trail riding and very occasionally mudding....if it will hold up, will I need to have it shortened or lengthened?

need more specs on the rig, but you should search. its been covered a lot on here.

At that amount of lift you will most likely need a GC front shaft for a "stock" replacement

Mine is about 34 1/2" fully extended.....I have a hack n tap and had to go with a v8 zj front driveshaft.....if all else fails, measure the damn thhing..
