one piece axle conversion for a 1990 XJ

If I replace the crappy vac. axle disconnect in my 1990 XJ with a one piece shaft, will the 4WD light still work ?

Also will the axle from a 2001 TJ work ?

Yes. We lived for years without lights to tell us we were in 4wd. The lever does a pretty good job of letting us know.

Just didn't want the stupid thing on all the time. And I didn't want to have to take the bulb out if stays on :laugh3:
