renix exhaust manifold replacement

So again Ive searched and found nothing about the renix manifold replacement. All I really need to know is on the 87 renix 4.0 do I need to pull the intake manifold off in order to replace the header? Thanks.

Yes they share some of the same bolts. Not really a big deal. It isnt as bad as it looks. While I had mine off I used the the opportunity to de-gunk my intake. It felt like I got a smoother idle and cleaner throttle response.

Make sure not too loose any of the curved washers!!!!!!

Why are you replacing the header?

it took about 3 hours to remove and replace my exhaust manifold on my 1990. i have to do it again because my temporary fix on the crack broke again. just need some long arms and little hands.
