Neater way of organising 12v feeds for non factory mods

My 99 XJ has been converted to LPG in the past and to be honest the installer made a messy job of hooking up the power and ground from the battery, it doesn't look neat and there's a whole bunch of wires running across the top of the battery.

Now I've just upgraded the lights which meant another live feed from the battery and I plan to do the same with the factory fogs so that will be another.

Anyone got any neat ideas for getting this better organised, maybe something like a mini PDC mounted near the battery that has one feed and blade fused outlets for the various extra bits?

I ran a single 4ga(iirc) with a 150 amp fuse off the batt to a fuse block in the pass kick panel.
Unfortunately not everythhing can be tied into that, so the winch and headlight power are still hooked directly to the batt. Military style batt clamps help keep it from looking too ugly.

I'm in the process of wiring up additional sets of aux Lights. Jeep came with four on the roof rack controlled by two seperate switches. I just mounted to JY TJ fogs to the rear for back up lights, and I will be mounting to Autozone lights to the side of the rack for additional lighting for working/situational awareness at night. Then I would like to be able to switch my e-fan manually...

I was looking for the same sort of thing and I first came upon this:

http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=938344

That was a good idea but looked to be above my patience/skill level and I found this:

http://forum.ih8mud.com/merchandise-storefront/352802-auxiliary-fuse-relay-panel.html

It can be ordered here:

http://wagongear.com/WiredWagon.html Toward the bottom of the page.

The box is made by Bussmann and the guy who builds it fills it with the micro relays. He said he has made over 200 of these and hasn't heard of the relay needing to be replaced. I'll be ordering this box next payday.

I will be wiring all of my stuff through this switch panel which should be here in a few days:

http://www.prime4x4.com/shop/Switch...Panels/p/12-Volt-Switch--Receptacle-Panel.htm

Deletes the storage tray in front of the shifter but the only thing I keep in there is old interior screws when I forget where they go...

Both builders were VERY quick to reply to my questions via email.

Hope this helps.

How much per circuit, and how much in total? Fuse blocks are available with a ganged infeed and several ATO circuits out, with 1/4" blade terminals to feed to circuit. Hit me backchannel if you want to know more.

Many variations on the theme. Google search (add "site:naxja.org" to your key words) for waterproof fuse box, relay fuse box, etc. There are a lot of options that people here have used, including specialty automotive and marine stuff.

Dirtboundoffroad will be my pick hands down. He have two units one with relays and one without.

The one from Dirtbound is the same one I linked at Wagon Gear.

Not sure about DBO, but the Wagon Gear box comes with relays, an offset stand and leads wired up for $10 more plus $15 shipping.

Lots of good stuff in this thread. Subscribing.......

DBO comes with fuses (and relays for the one with relay spots) for the price posted.
