Rock krawler 3 link question

Hi All!

i just installed the RK 3 link I welded the crush sleeves as the instructions said my question is do i have to weld the bracket to the unibody or can i run it just bolt it in and be fine???

my buddy runs the rk 3 link and im 99% positive that his brackets are just bolted on and great choice by the way his flexes like a champ

Mine aren't bolted, just welded. But I have frame stiffeners so I have a little more meat on the rail. I'd be careful since the frame rail itself is pretty thin, if you wheel hard you might start bending up and cracking the rail around the bolts. Whatever way you go, do yourself a favor and put on frame stiffeners. TNT and HD Offroad are the commonly used ones.

Id stitch weld if to the unibody, if your not going to get frame stiffeners.

Seems like last time I did one the instructions said welding is preferred but you can bolt it on if you don't have a welder.

The old style was weld on and bolt on. The style you have is bolt after you weld the sleeves in.
