Disable both airbags on 2000 XJ

Looking for direction into disabling both airbags in a 2000 jeep. I have tried searching just seems most info isn't complete with knowledge of what actually works. Some talk about pulling the fuses but say it keeps reserve power so it could still go off. Also what about the airbag controller under the seat or console.
And before we get replys of how dangerous and stupid that is or how it is illegal and won't pass inspection, that is not the info I care about.

Chrysler had a kit here is the part# 5013541AB. this is a switch kit to turn off the driver and pass airbags. i do not know if the kit is still available or how much it is. there is a statement says you must send in a request form to the NHTSA for permission to do the conversion.

just unplug the air bags and leave them installed so you can reconnect if you get rid of the jeep

are the plugs pretty easy to get to.

1997-2001, just remove the Airbag fuses and they are fully disabled.

Wondering why you would, but whatever works for you.
