231 transfer case leak help!!!

i just bought a 95 grand cherokee from my brother he was selling it because the transfer case exploded i put in a new one with new input and output seals, it leaked. so i pulled out the seal thinking it was messed up it seemed fine i put a new one in it kept leaking so i put in a new drive shaft and it is still leaking!!! im not sure what the problem would be at this point. any ideas? its a 95 grand cherokee with the i6 4.0, auto, 231 transfer case
any ideas would be great

I'm not familiar with the GC 231 TC vent, but you might want to check to see if the TC vent is plugged. Follow the vent tube off the TC to the vent (probably in the engine bay near the transmission dip stick tube).

I know XJ's, starting in '97, had a strange vent that would easily plug up.

Over serviced TC's and TC's with plugged vents may cause leaking past seals.
