hood release cable lubing

Over the years my hood release has become increasingly difficult. Used some motorcycle cable lube on it, and wham! Like new again.

Dont dance too hard.... i went thru the same thing on a jeep in the family that reluctantly doesnt have hood pins... then a week later, SNAP. Had to take the front clip off to get the thing open to fix it... i very much dislike the entire stock hood latch system....

You went through too much work. Just pull the headlight buckets out and unbolt the latches. Four 13mm bolts.

i agree, shouldve gone to hood pins years ago, before this happened. this has since been situated.
