Nasty Looking Oil

I started a thread about doing a tranny cooler earlier. This is what prompted it. That is some nasty looking oil that drained out. Look how thick it is. Old on the left....new on the right.

Should have done a tranny service when I bought it I guess. Just one of those things you don't always think about.

I just replied to your tranny cooler thread. I will have to take a picture of the tranny fluid I pulled out of my AW4 a month or so ago. I swore for all the world it was used motor oil for a minute. I burned it moving from Murfreesboro to Ohio a couple months ago. Never again will that happen...
