slow window writeup?

Howdy,
I have 1989 Xj with VERY slow drivers window, and I recall there was a writeup on fixing that with a #10 wire?
I did a search, and the one I found had a bad link, to Jeepin' Joe.

Anyone know where the information might be found?

Bob, I'm not sure if that was for your vintage or not. Seems I've seen it, too.

Have you tried spraying silicone spray in the channels with the window down? I've had pretty good luck with that. Then with the window down, I've stuck the nozzle of the spray can down next to the glass and flooded the channels down in the door.
