i currently have a 92 xj larado. i have a 6 inch lift on her. i am considering buying a newer xj and my question is on my 92. what years is my 6 inch lift directly compatiable with to bolt my suspension (currently) right up in a newer xj. 97-99 preferably.
On the front axle of the xj what years is the vacuum operated axle disconnect used if at all?

The lift will work on any year XJ,the CAD axles stopped in about 94 IIRC!

It is very very close to 100% bolt on. Because the D35 and 8.25 rear axles use different diameter tubes, you will need new U-bolts if the new XJ has a different rear (most likely the 92 is a D35, 97-99 will be 8.25).
I also noticed the front sway bar links were different length in my 99 XJ compared to both the 91 and 95. No idea why, or if this could be an issue when swapping disconnects.
