ZJ hitch Q's

I've got a used factory hitch for a 99-04 ZJ that I am giving to a buddy in trade. He wants me to mount this up for him but I'm not familiar with the ZJ's.

Has anyone messed with installing a hitch on one of these and care to share any info. :worship: Can I fish bolts thru the frame like on an XJ? Do I have to remove the rear bumper cover?

Visit some hitch manufacturers websites, you can usually find install instructions. Or, Use the Force Luke, and Google.

99-04 is a WJ. Haven't had one in a while. But I did put a hitch on mine. Mine had the nut things in the frame already. I removed the bumper cover to cut it and install the bezel piece that goes around the reciever.
