Hello everyone! Im kinda new around here but def not a noob to forums, im a bmw guy (strictly older BMW's) but
I Picked up my 1990 jeep limited (np242) a couple years back It was originally white but i fixed that along with ripping off the little limited stylings from the sides

i dont really have any pictures of it stock because... well i lifted it almost immediately
2.5" S10 AAL from Summit (and a 1" block)
and found some some used 3 inch rusty coils
for a grand total of 65 bucks

That netted me 3.5 in the back and by doubling up some Isolators i got just about the same up front

Picked up some used 30x9.50's for 80 bucks and whammy

ebay roof rack was another 100 bucks
Xj2500 tail lights and LED bulbs (26 bucks from china)

Trailed it like this for a year or so (i worked for the forest service)
and then i got bored again

So i cut the bottom tabs on the hinges so i could go doorless (also picked up a little pink bicycle mirror to keep the 5.0 happy

I also got that tire up top for free from my neighbor SCORE!!!

and ALAS... i got bored again last weekend and trimmed my fenders because my 30x9.50s are getting worn (treadwrights are on the way!!!)

and for the rears I used Bfanns stock front fenders and they came out LEGIT

(the angle doesnt really do the rears justice but.. ohh well)
i guess i could do a how too on this if anyone is interested it certainly wasnt easy but i love stock flares for some reason

IN THE WORKS
i currently i have a 1963 corvette yoke sitting on my kitchen table and a ZJ front driveshaft in my shed (just need some new leaf packs and coil spacers and im in business for 2 more inches of lift and a hack N tap sye)

So i finally got all my parts together for my jeep

Header panel from the junkyard with lights and grill $40.00
headlight doors and one turn signal $35.00
and some spray paint $6.00

ok enough talking, MOAR PICHURS

BEFORE
1990 jeep cherokee limited, NP242, with a 3 inch lift

^ yeh my grill was upside down lol... my lights fit better that way

During

since there wasnt a bolt to hold the new header panel on i drilled a hole and used a self tapping screw to hold it on.. but i was out of washers so i had to improvise

and After

I need to take a picture of the body lines but they really line up just fine with the early style fenders

it was really easy, just had to wire the two lights from the new header panel together and tie them into the existing wiring in the jeep for the turn signals to flash, and splice the new marker lamp bulb connectors on because the 1990's one wouldnt fit

also had to adjust the hood forward because i had a 1/2 in gap

Well i was supposed to pick up my new diff yesterday but it was doing this

Got the 8.8 cleaned up and painted..

and then got bored today and by bored i meant sick of the rear tires rubbing the wheel wells

so a quick trip to the pick and pull and i scored some sweet Dodge durango rear bumpstops.. they look beefy enough

559732_10150674411162957_556537956_9396705_1758995364_n.jpg

NOW i could have drilled out one of the bolt holes and they would have been a direct fit... but i kinda wanted to have two bolts holding them in rather than attaching them the way the durango does

so i cut the tabs off my old bumpstops
36329_10150674411237957_556537956_9396707_367690198_n.jpg

and welded them too the durango stops
(ran outta gas so they are just flux welded... OHH WELL)
155450_10150674411282957_556537956_9396710_841404681_n.jpg

and they seem to work just fine!
