Next thought on my brake problem?

My brakes wore out, drivers side before passenger, so I replaced the pads.

The driver side wore out quickly and I could hear them dragging. So I replaced the pads rotors and calipers.

Now the drivers side is worn out again and I've replaced the brake hose and pads.

Guess what is still dragging??? Yup, the drivers side.

I've always noticed the dirvers side locks up first.

This is getting expensive.

Thoughts???

Proportioning valve, maybe?

The passenger side not working.

Have you replaced the caliper slides? They don't take much to stick and make your pads drag.

Buy better quality brake parts. Replace or re-surface rotors/drums when you replace the brake pads/shoes.

If you calipers are sticking or dragging, replace them and the rubber brake hoses.

Is your brake fluid old and contaminated ? Brake fluid should be flushed and replaced every 60,000 miles.
