Code C0100? Question.

Hello all, This is my first post. I really enjoyed reading a lot here.

On to my question. I finally "got on it" the other day. and it popped a code c0100. I'm having a problem finding anything towards this. I found something about an ABS.. I don't have ABS. Odd..

2000 Cherokee Sport 4.0, AW4, 4WD, 8.25. This thing is pretty much stock. All new fluids, (synthetic) for winter and a basic cat-back exhaust, nothing wild yet. New plugs, belts, and hoses. 91k on the odometer. It runs and drives fabulous, so I'm not sure what it would be.

What code reader/scanner are you using to get code c0100?

Are you sure that is what it is pulling?

I looked in the FSM for my 2001 and couldn't find a 100 code.

And, I thought that all codes started with a P, not a C.

I was using my bluetooth scanner with my Transformer tablet. I checked it on a couple of different times. Then I cleared the codes and the light went out.

I know there are:
powertrain=p
body=b
chassis=c


I don't have a MAF on this so I doubt it's the p0100 code for MAF issues.

I just found it odd is all.
