Turn Signal Relay

So my Wife's 99 was having an issue with the turn signals. The hazard light would work fine but when you used the turn signal it would flash once or twice when you used either the left or right. Here is what I did;
-Remove knee board below steering wheel (plastic and metal)
-Remove foam from relay and connector.
-Clean contacts on relay.
-Reconnected and put all back together.

As of now it is working. I will monitor it in the next few days but to me it looks as if though the connection was dirty.

Took me no more than 10 minutes with a phillips head screwdriver.
